Presentations library

Quick start

1. Open Presentations from the sidebar (/presentations).
2. Click New presentation, Import PowerPoint, or New folder in the header.
3. On a deck card, click Edit to open the editor or Present to start present mode.
4. Open the ⋮ menu for Speaker notes, Chords, Add to service, Export to PowerPoint, or Move to folder.
5. Drag a presentation card onto a service in the Services panel to add it to that order.

You should see thumbnails with slide count, aspect ratio, and optional Live, Not ready, or In N services badges.

Deep dive

Page header

The library shows Presentations as the page title with:

• New presentation — opens the create wizard
• Import PowerPoint — upload a .pptx file, review slides and fidelity warnings, then create a deck in the current folder. Animations, transitions, SmartArt, charts, and some fonts are not imported.
• New folder — create a subfolder in the current location

Use the contextual ? next to the title for a short summary and link to this article.

Search presentations

Control	Behavior
Search	Placeholder Search by title…; press Enter or use the search control to search across your church library
Clear	Removes the search term and returns to the normal folder listing
Empty results	No results — no presentations match your search

Search matches presentation titles church-wide (not limited to the current folder). Folder navigation is hidden while search results are shown.

Breadcrumbs and folders

All presentations is the root. Open a folder to see only decks inside it. The breadcrumb trail shows your path — click any segment to go back.

The Folders section lists subfolders in the current location. Click a folder to open it. Folders must be empty before you can delete them.

Drag a presentation card onto a folder to move it there (grab the card and drop on the folder tile).

Presentation cards

Each card shows:

• Thumbnail — preview of the first slide
• Title
• Slide count and aspect ratio (for example 16:9)
• Edit and Present buttons
• Add to service button
• ⋮ Presentation actions menu

Cards are draggable — use drag-and-drop to move decks into folders or onto services.

Edit and Present

Present returns you to the library when you leave present mode (breadcrumb context is preserved per folder). From present mode you can also open the editor with toolbar Edit without leaving the operator page.

Export to PowerPoint	Download a .pptx of the main slides (text, images, shapes, and notes). Content variants, countdowns, and live ink are not exported.
Delete	Permanently remove the presentation

Live badge

Live appears when this deck is currently running in present mode (someone clicked Start). The badge is informational — open present mode to see the current state.

Not ready badge

Not ready appears when standalone Present is blocked because this deck is in a live service. Click the badge to see why and open that service’s present console. End the live service first if you need to present the deck alone.

In services

In N services shows how many service orders include this deck. Click the badge to open In services:

• See which services use this presentation
• Remove individual occurrences from a service order
• Open service to edit the full setlist in the service builder

Selection mode

Click Select to enter bulk selection mode:

1. Click cards to toggle selection (or Select all / Deselect all)
2. Use the action bar: Clear selection, Add to service, or Delete
3. Click Cancel to exit selection mode

Bulk Delete warns when selected decks are used in services — removing them also removes them from those service orders.

Services quick panel

On wide screens, the Services panel appears on the right:

• Drag a presentation here to add it to a service — drop a card onto a listed service
• Drop a presentation here with a name to create a new service — type a name in the new-service field, then drop
• Refresh services — reload the recent services list
• Collapse / Expand — hide or show the panel (preference is remembered)
• All services — link to the full Services library

This is the fastest way to add decks without leaving Presentations. Finish ordering in the service builder.

Add to service modal

Add to service (from a card, ⋮ menu, or bulk selection) opens a modal:

• Search Recent services
• Create a new service with a name
• Add appends the selected deck(s) to the chosen service
• Open service jumps to the service builder after adding

Move to folder

Move to folder opens a dialog with the folder tree. Pick a destination and confirm. The deck leaves the current folder view after moving.

Delete warnings

Deleting a presentation that appears in service orders shows an extra warning naming affected services. Deletion is permanent and removes the deck from those orders.

Bulk delete shows a similar warning when any selected deck is in a service.

Empty states

• No presentations yet — click New presentation on the root library
• This folder is empty — create a deck or subfolder inside the folder

Tips

• Use folders for series, seasons, or teams — keep the root library uncluttered.
• Drag decks onto the Services panel while building your setlist instead of opening each Add to service modal.
• Open Speaker notes or Chords from the ⋮ menu during rehearsal without entering present mode.
• Watch for Live before deleting — someone may still be presenting that deck.
• Use Select mode to bulk-add several new songs to a service at once.

[!tip] Worship decks with chord data show Chords in the ⋮ menu. Open chord charts from service present on Sunday so they follow the live song.

Troubleshooting

Cannot delete a folder

• Folders must be empty. Move or delete presentations inside first, then delete subfolders.

Drag to folder does nothing

• Grab the presentation card (not a button) and drop on a folder tile in the Folders section.

Chords menu item is missing

• Chords only appears for worship presentations that have chord data. Edit the deck and use the worship song editor if needed.

Delete failed

• Refresh the page and try again — the deck revision may have changed.
• Confirm no one else is editing the presentation (edit session lock).

Presentation not in the Services panel after drop

• Check for an error toast. Use Refresh services and try again, or use Add to service from the card.
