Presentations for Sunday, built in the browser

A presentation in WorshipDeck is one deck of slides: one song, one sermon, one announcement, or any standalone slideshow. You build it in the browser, store it in your church library, and present it on its own or as an item in a service.

That split is intentional. Presentations are the content you reuse. Services are Sunday's order. Volunteers can finish a lyric deck on Wednesday and drop it into this week's setlist without rebuilding anything.

A library your whole team can share

Open Presentations to browse decks in folders, search by name, and see which items are already in a service. Typical church workflows:

• Folders by series, campus, or ministry
• Duplicate last week's announcement deck instead of starting over
• Drag a finished presentation onto a service from the library
• Open Present when you only need a single deck live: no full setlist required

Edit locking keeps two people from silently overwriting the same deck. If someone else is in the editor, you can request access or come back later.

Import an existing deck

Use Import presentation in the library to upload .pptx or Keynote .key files. WorshipDeck processes the file in the background and creates an editable deck in the current folder. Keynote files are converted to PowerPoint before import.

Import is intentionally not described as a perfect conversion. Animations, transitions, SmartArt, charts, and some fonts are not imported, and embedded media may need attention. There is no direct importer for ProPresenter, EasyWorship, MediaShout, OpenLP, or other vendor project formats.

PowerPoint export when you need a file

WorshipDeck is the live source of truth, but you can still download a .pptx from the presentation library. Export includes the main slides, supported text, images, shapes, and speaker notes so you can hand off or archive a portable copy.

Content variants, countdown behavior, live annotations, and some browser-specific media behavior do not translate directly to PowerPoint. Review the exported deck before relying on it outside WorshipDeck.

Slide editor built for church content

The editor is a canvas with a filmstrip, insert bar, styling panel, and speaker notes, not a generic slideshow bolted onto ministry.

From the insert bar you can add:

• Text, shapes, and images from your media library
• Video and audio, including YouTube URLs with trim, loop, and playback rate
• Countdown and QR code widgets for giving, kids check-in, or next-service timers
• Bible verses from your church's translations, including dual-language inserts
• Quotes and prayers from searchable libraries so you are not retyping every week
• Worship lyrics from the songs catalog or your church's own songs

Presentation types (worship, sermon, announcement, scripture, prayer, and more) help you start with the right shape. Themes set fonts, colors, and backgrounds; individual slides can still override a background or add audio.

A still from the media library can become a short video with Animate this image in the Styling panel. Stay on that slide until the swap finishes. Use the library menu when you want the clip saved first and the slide later.

Multi-screen from the same deck

One main slide can have content variants: alternate layouts for a side screen, lower third, or confidence monitor. You still advance one slide at a time. Screen layouts decide which variant each physical output shows.

That is how bilingual services, stream overlays, and stage confidence stay in sync with the congregation view. Read content variants when you are ready to design those outputs.

From editor to live

When the deck is ready:

1. Click Present from the library or editor
2. Open outputs so the congregation can see slides
3. Use Start when you want screens to follow you
4. Fix a typo with Edit in present mode. Live output does not have to stop
