Services — your whole Sunday in one setlist

A service in WorshipDeck is an ordered worship setlist — not a Windows service, and not a single slideshow. Each service item points to a presentation. Welcome slides, three songs, announcements, and a sermon deck become one flow you run live.

In one sentence: a presentation is one deck; a service is Sunday's lineup.

When to use a service

Use Services when you need one live session across multiple decks:

• Sunday morning from walk-in loop through benediction
• Midweek with a different order
• A funeral, wedding, or special that still needs lyrics, scripture, and a message

If you only need one song or one announcement on screen, open that presentation and click Present. No setlist required.

Library and builder

The Services library is folders and cards — create a service, name it, and open the builder. There is no separate "new service" wizard page: you name it, then you order it.

In the service builder:

• Add presentations from your library
• Drag to reorder
• Duplicate an item when the same deck should play twice (for example a reprise)
• Open a deck in the editor without losing your place in the setlist
• Configure timed automation per item for lobby loops or pre-service slides

You can also add a deck to a service from the presentations library (Add to service / Services panel) and finish ordering in the builder. Both paths share the same setlist.

Present stays disabled until the service has at least one presentation. Add an item, then run it.

Live: one operator console for the whole order

Service present mode is the operator surface for the full setlist. You see the current deck, the next item, and controls to advance slides or switch items. Outputs, presenter views, and live edit follow the item you are on — including chord charts that update when you move to the next song.

You can change order and fix slides without ending live. That is the Sunday-morning feature volunteer operators ask for after the first typo.

Automation when you are not standing on every slide

Some items should run themselves: a pre-service welcome loop, a giving prompt, a countdown. Per-item automation sets slide duration and repeat. It only runs while the service is live. Details: service automation.

Team planning without a single-owner file

Because services live in the church workspace, a worship leader can draft the order, a pastor can drop in the sermon deck, and a media volunteer can check themes and media before Sunday — from different devices. See team and church and WorshipDeck for media volunteers.
