Themes that look like your church, not a template graveyard
Apply WorshipDeck themes for fonts, colors, and backgrounds — then override a slide with image, video, or audio. Choose 16:9, 9:16, or 4:3 so slides match projectors, vertical screens, and streams.

Volunteer-built slides should still look like your church. WorshipDeck themes set default colors, fonts, and backgrounds. You apply a theme when you create a presentation or change it later from the editor — then override a single slide when the moment needs a video bed or a quiet black frame.
You do not need a graphic designer on staff. You do need a theme the whole team reuses so Sunday does not look like six different products.
Pick, preview, apply
In the editor, Change theme opens a grid: Popular, All, categories, and search. Click to preview on your actual slides. Apply theme saves; Cancel reverts.
Customize themes opens the church theme library (Presentation themes in the app). Duplicate a built-in theme and adjust:
- Background color, image, or video per aspect ratio
- Typography sizes
- Text, heading, and accent colors
- Chord styling for worship lyric decks
Screen shape and layout
Presentation Settings include Screen shape:
- Wide (16:9) — most projectors and streams
- Vertical (9:16) — portrait TVs and social-style screens
- Classic (4:3) — older projectors that still serve faithfully
Screen layout assigns which multi-screen template this deck uses — church default or a named layout your admin created. Layouts decide which content variant each physical output shows. You assign here; you design templates in church settings.
Backgrounds and audio on the insert bar
Slide background — color, image, or video; apply to this slide, a variant, or more of the deck. Reset to theme clears custom backgrounds on the current slide.
Background audio — choose a track from the media library, set scope (presentation, slide, or variant) and loop. Useful for pre-service atmospheres or a quiet bed under scripture — and easy to overdo. Prefer silence when the band is live.
Worship and sermon decks
Lyric slides often need more line spacing and less decoration than announcement slides. Keep a worship-oriented theme and a teaching theme rather than forcing one look everywhere. Compose from songs can apply a theme in the wizard so new lyric decks start on-brand.
