- Open
Settings→ Support (/settings/support). Church admins only. - Paste the ID into Operation ID and click Look up.

Deep dive
What this page is for
Support lets church admins look up a single operation ID and see what WorshipDeck recorded about that request. Use it when:
- An error message includes an operation ID
- The Usage ledger references a Source operation
- Operations dead-letter replay did not resolve the issue
- WorshipDeck support asks you to look up a specific ID
This page shows sanitized operational events only — metering, job stages, and recovery hints. It does not expose church content.
Operation ID format
Operation IDs must match WorshipDeck's validation pattern:
- 8–128 characters
- Start with a letter or digit
- May contain letters, digits, and
._:-
If the ID is too short, malformed, or copied with extra spaces, you see Enter a valid operation ID.
IDs are scoped to your active church. An ID from another organization returns No operation was found for this church.
Look up workflow
- Paste the full operation ID into the monospace input field
- Click Look up (shows Looking up… while loading)
- On success, the Operation details panel appears
Use the copy control next to the ID when sharing it with WorshipDeck support.
Current state
Current state summarizes where the operation ended up. Status values include:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Received | Request accepted |
| Queued | Waiting to start |
| Running | In progress |
| Waiting | Blocked on a dependency or review |
| Failed | Terminal failure |
| Completed | Finished successfully |
Event timeline
The timeline lists chronological events with timestamps and status codes. Event types include:
- Request received
- Ingestion updated
- Background job updated
- Connector updated
- Operation failed / Operation completed
Each entry shows date, status, and an optional error code. Use the timeline to see whether a job retried, failed at a specific stage, or completed after a delay.
Sanitized usage attribution
When metering applied to this operation, Sanitized usage attribution lists:
- Meter name (for example
ai.cost,connectors.requests) - Estimated vs actual amounts
- Settlement status
Cross-reference with Usage & limits for church-wide totals and reset dates.
Safe recovery options
When WorshipDeck can suggest a next step, Safe recovery options shows links such as:
- Review usage and reset times — opens usage settings
- Review billing and plan limits — opens billing (nothing is purchased automatically)
- Review integrations — opens the integrations hub
- Review support details — stays on this page for another lookup
Recovery links are safe — they navigate to settings pages or suggest retries. They do not replay jobs, purchase credits, or modify data without your explicit action elsewhere.
Support vs Operations
| Page | Use when |
|---|---|
| Support (this page) | You have an operation ID and need its timeline |
| Operations | You want to see all active jobs or replay dead letters |
| Sync operations | The issue is integration sync (Planning Center, calendars) |
Start with Support when you have a specific ID. Use Operations for church-wide job recovery without knowing the ID upfront.
When to contact WorshipDeck support
Contact human support when:
- Lookup returns No operation was found but you have a recent error with an ID
- Safe recovery options includes Contact support with this operation ID
- The timeline shows Failed with a code you do not understand
- Recovery steps did not resolve the issue after two attempts
Include the operation ID, approximate time, and what you were doing (upload, email send, sync, etc.).
Tips
- Copy the operation ID immediately when an error appears — some toasts dismiss quickly.
- Look up IDs from the usage ledger to understand unexpected meter charges.
- Follow recovery links before replaying dead letters — replay can incur more cost.
- Share the copied ID with your team before escalating to WorshipDeck.
- Check Operations if support asks you to replay a dead-lettered job.
[!note] Operation lookup is read-only. Replaying or canceling jobs happens on Operations or feature-specific pages — not here.
Troubleshooting
Enter a valid operation ID
- Remove spaces, quotes, or URL fragments around the ID.
- Confirm the full string was copied (IDs are at least 8 characters).
No operation was found for this church
- Verify you are in the correct active church.
- The operation may belong to a different organization or have expired from lookup.
- Double-check the ID from the original error — typos are common.
The operation lookup could not be completed
- Refresh the page and try again.
- Check your network connection.
Timeline shows Failed but recovery links do not help
- Note the error code on the failed event.
- Check Usage & limits for exhausted meters.
- Review Billing if the failure is quota-related.
- Contact WorshipDeck support with the operation ID.
Usage attribution does not match expectations
- Estimated amounts may differ from final actuals.
- See the full ledger on Usage & limits filtered by meter.
